Yamashiro Hollywood is pleased to announce the launch of their Guest Chef Series in which executive chef, Brock Kleweno, will host various local chefs of LA that personally inspire him! Together with chef Brock, these culinary minds will create a unique pre-fixe 5-course meal with wine pairings. The first of the collaborative dinners will be on Tuesday March 12th, 2013 with the Rodriguez brothers and Chef Omar Borba of Los Balcones del Peru! The traditional, Creole-Peruvian flavors of Los Balcones del Peru has gained a reputation for tantalizing the palates of Angelenos for eight years now at the corner of Vine St. and De Longpre Ave—and now with us!

“I think it will be interesting to combine a smaller boutique restaurant, like Balcones, and a high-volume, iconic restaurant like Yamashiro,” said Kleweno. “The pairing of Asian and Peruvian makes sense because, historically, Peru has so many Asian influences in both culture and cuisine.”
