Garden Courtyard

The Garden Courtyard offers a visual feast of Japanese-inspired design with shoji screen walls and gorgeous hexagon tile floors. The lush Zen Garden and soothing waterfall accentuates the serene beauty of the space and vibrant Japanese Koi fish add a lively pop of color to the clear waters of the Koi Pond.
The Garden Courtyard is a great venue for all types of events to keep your guests comfortable and entertained from weddings and receptions to cocktail parties and corporate events.
Want to bring your party inside? The Garden Courtyard includes the Koi Dining Room, perfect for an intimate dinner for 30 - 40 guests. The Courtyard also connects to our adjacent Skyview Room, which is available if you need to expand your event into another one of Yamashiro’s exquisite spaces.

The Koi Dining Room is included along with the rental of our gorgeous Garden Courtyard. The Koi Dining Room can seat 30 guests for a memorable fine dining experience or accommodate 40 guests in a lavish reception setting, making it perfect for intimate dinner parties or romantic, exclusive receptions.
Skyview Room
1090 sq. ft
The Skyview Room is the pinnacle of luxury and drama. The space is lit by a historic chandelier and its gleaming floors can double as a built-in dance floor. The Skyview Room is fully enclosed for extra privacy and the tall, glass windows provide some of the most stunning views of LA- from the spectacular, historic Hollywood sign, to the Griffith Observatory, to the picturesque Downtown LA skyline, this space truly creates a dazzling experience for any special occasion.
The Skyview Room comfortably accommodates 60 people and can be booked independently or together with the complementary Garden Courtyard event space. The Skyview room also comes with built-in AV capabilities (including a screen and a projector) for slideshows and presentations, which makes it a perfect event venue for receptions, corporate events, or intimate film screenings.

The Sunset Dining Room is located on the west end of the Yamashiro property, and as the name implies, is the perfect event space for watching the sun set over the West Hollywood skyline. After the sunset, this room offers beautiful views of the city lights, from high above Los Angeles.
