As those familiar with Yamashiro's history are well aware, Hollywood's film industry has always had strong ties to the property dating back to Hollwood's Golden Age. Those ties remain strong to this day, as evident by the After Party that was recently held at the restaurant to celebrate the premiere of Disney's latest animated film, Big Hero 6.

The cast, crew and celebrity guests enjoyed the premiere showing of the film at the El Capitan Theatre and then made their way up the hill to celebrate and feast on sushi and assorted sweets at Yamashiro for the official After Party. The night featured appearances from the stars of Big Hero 6 and included "selfie stations" where guests could have their picture taken with Hiro and Baymax, two main characters from the film.

It was the type of star studded evening that Yamashiro has been a part of so many times over its 100 year history and we were thrilled to play host to yet another one.
