On Wednesday, March 19th Yamashiro will be hosting the third edition of our Guest Chef Series. We will be welcoming the LA-based pop soul duo, David and Devine. The group consisting of Candace Devine (vocals) and David Yaden (piano-vocals) play music that offers a unique combination of old school soul and modern pop fun. Chef Brock's 5-course dinner will be inspired by the music of the group, who will also be performing in the garden courtyard that night.

David and Devine have been described as the new "Bonnie and Clyde of Soul," as well as what you might expect if Elton John and Aretha Franklin formed a band. A good introduction to the group is their song "Leave the Light On," which has recently garnered radio airplay. Another song to check out is "Til the Sun Comes Up," and the sci-fi/thriller-themed music video for the song, which features actress Mariana Klaveno of HBO's True Blood.

The intimate setting of the Yamashiro garden courtyard, along with the original dishes from Chef Brock should make for a truly one-of-a-kind dining experience. Spots are almost gone, so  reserve your seat today!
