New Year's Eve 2013 - Menu Sneak Peek
We're getting excited for our big New Year's Eve party that will launch Yamashiro's 100 year anniversary celebration. The night's festivities will include dancing, a photo booth, DJ, party favors, and a special 4-course prix-fixe menu prepared by our own Chef Brock. To whet your appetite we thought we would give you a sneak peek at the menu and highlight a dish from each course.
Roasted Butternut Squash Soup (1st Course option) - A seasonal soup with Chinese 5-spice creme fraiche and spicy pepitas.
Korean Style Braised Beef Short Rib (2nd Course option) - Braised short ribs served with honey mustard polenta and scallions.
Shoyu Glazed Black Cod (3rd Course option) - A black cod with sauteed mustard greens, maitake mushrooms, wasabi mashed potatos and soy daikon sauce.
Warm Chocolate Souffle Cake (Dessert option) - Chocolate souffle cake served with vanilla ice cream, creme anglaise and hot fudge sauce.
